THE CHEF

“The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself.” –Anna Quindlen

Hello and welcome to My Imperfect Kitchen! I’m Sara. 🙂
Here is my picture…

Ok! Ok! So, it’s not a recent picture, but it’s just soooo cute!   Look at those chubby cheeks!  (I guess some things never change!)

Here is how I look now…

This is me!

This is me!

I am a home-chef, wife, mother, passionate foodie, cookbook collector, amateur photographer, book-reading, coffee-loving, life-loving gal. Nothing makes me happier than sharing tasty treats with people I love!

Join the culinary adventures in My Imperfect Kitchen through my own creations, the classes I take, the Chef’s I meet and the places I eat. The flavors of my life are both sweet and savory and I will share all of it!

Just like my blog, I am not perfect. Thank goodness! Perfect is boring. Perfect means there is nothing else to strive toward.  My motto is “Never trust a skinny chef!”  Which makes me very trust-worthy!  🙂

I hope when you’re here, you feel at home! Come hang out in a T-shirt and your most comfortable jeans. Grab a cup of coffee and join me as we sit around a table laughing, learning, sharing recipes and solving the problems of the world with home-made cookies!
